Gynae-Oncology Masterclass

Tuesday’s Masterclass will be about benign and malignant gynaecological conditions, and will include presentations from 𝐃𝐫 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐆𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧.
Dr Kate Tyson is an Endosurgery fellow at Monash Health and has also worked for non-profit organisations including Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and has a strong focus on Public Health as well.
Dr Melissa McGauran is a Senior Ob-Gyn registrar and current Gynae Oncology Fellow at Western Health.
What will be happening:
Part 1: ‘𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭’ presented by Dr Kate Tyson, with a focus on benign conditions.
Part 2: ‘𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲’ presented by Dr Melissa McGauran.

This event is ESPECIALLY helpful for MD3 & pre-intern MD4 students, but will be helpful for students of all year levels and is not to be missed! Make sure to stay until the end as there will be some exciting interactive cases for your chance to actively engage with the content.
